These landscape images emerged
through a gradual process, beginning with the concept of
working within a strict parameter of shape and size; this
continues in the “Evening/Afternoon” Hills monotypes. This
particular series has been extremely popular, with pieces now
residing in many homes internationally. However, a client was
intrigued with the images yet wanted a larger size piece and
this led to the development of the “Landline” series. “This
break from the original format has continued to evolve with
different shapes and sizes, each
piece having it’s own character and impression."
